When inflating, the cushion increases the medial or lateral compression for knee valgus or varus in order to obtain an opening in the other tibio-femeral compartment, minimising condylar loads on the superior extremity of the tibia.
The polycentric articulation combined with the inflatable cushion will contribute to an improved alignment.
