StepUp® Drop Foot Support
Lightweight innovative and design registered orthosis designed by Healthcare Professionals for treatment of flaccid foot drop. The StepUp® is an ultra-discreet dynamic foot drop device that is simplistic in design and easily accommodated in footwear. Utilising soft fabric textiles and touch-close fastening, it maintains a low-profile design that is easy to don/doff, whilst remaining hidden effortlessly under clothing.
Using a unique strap tension system with anti-slip silicone beading, the orthosis creates upwards lift of the foot, reducing the risk of trips and falls commonly associated with foot drop.
Available in various sizes, including a universal variant which includes a trimmable calf band, foot cuff and two trimmable tension straps.

Indications for Use
Post operative and post trauma. Flaccid foot drop. Dorsiflexion weakness in swing phase, control for mild plantarflexion. Suitable for conditions such as Multiple Sclerosis, neurological deficit from conditions such nerve damage and strokes, and muscular weakness. As well as passively assisting dorsiflexion and toe clearance, the StepUp can provide medio-lateral support due to its strapping system to aid in improving balance, stability, and co-ordination.
