• Telescopic Side Bars – Brace length can be adjusted from approximately 44 cm to 69 cm.
• Medio-Lateral Stability – Structured side supports reinforce the knee against unwanted side-to-side movement.
• Antero-Posterior Control – Provides additional front-to-back stability around the joint.
• Four Adjustable Straps – Two thigh and two calf straps secure the orthosis around the leg.
• Padded Side Plates – Provide cushioning between the rigid components and the leg.
• Universal Bilateral Design – Suitable for either the left or right knee.

Indicated for unstable or injured knees, post-operative and post-traumatic rehabilitation and situations where relative immobilisation or controlled knee movement is required.

May be particularly suitable following cruciate ligament surgery where flexion and extension need to be progressively controlled as part of a prescribed rehabilitation programme.

Who is the Adjustable Locking Knee Brace suitable for?
It is designed for people who require structured knee stability and controlled range of motion following significant injury, surgery or during specialist rehabilitation.

What does ROM mean?
ROM means range of motion. A ROM brace allows the amount of knee bending and straightening to be deliberately restricted during rehabilitation.

What flexion settings are available?
Flexion can be controlled from 0° to 120° in 10° increments.

What extension settings are available?
Extension can be controlled from -10° to +30° in 10° increments.

Can I change the ROM settings myself?
Where the brace is being used following surgery or significant injury, the settings should follow the rehabilitation plan provided by your healthcare professional.

Can the length of the brace be adjusted?
Yes. The telescopic side bars allow the overall brace height to be adjusted from approximately 44 cm to 69 cm.
How is this different from the 3-TEX® ROM Knee Brace?
The Adjustable Locking Knee Brace uses a longer telescopic frame with a wider range of incremental flexion and extension settings. The 3-TEX® is a shorter textile ROM brace designed around a smaller number of selectable movement settings.

Can it be worn on either knee?
Yes. The universal design allows it to be fitted to either the left or right knee.

Is it suitable following ACL surgery?
It may be suitable following cruciate ligament surgery where controlled knee movement has been prescribed. The treating clinical team should determine the appropriate settings and wear programme.

How tight should the straps be?
The four straps should hold the brace securely without causing pain, numbness, tingling or excessive pressure. The joint centres should remain aligned alongside the knee.
