The Jewett Hyperextension Brace - Standard delivers high-quality spinal support by restricting forward flexion and relieving pressure from the anterior vertebrae. It provides effective treatment for thoracic and lumbar compression fractures and offers essential support during post-operative spinal recovery. Using a three-point pressure system, the brace stabilises the spine through targeted contact at the pectorals, suprapubic area, and dorsolumbar region. This design encourages spinal extension while reducing strain on vulnerable vertebral structures. In addition, the brace includes a 3-axis adjustable pectoral pad that contours precisely to the chest for enhanced comfort and control. A padded pelvic support band rotates in 20° increments, allowing for customised alignment based on individual body mechanics. To further personalise the fit, users can adjust the height easily via a side-mounted lateral regulator plate. Although strong and supportive, the lightweight aluminium frame ensures comfort and mobility during extended daily wear. This standard-length version suits users with average torso lengths, while a shorter model is also available for more compact body types.
