5-Layer Heel Elevator (Firm Density)

Five adjustable heights – Peel-away layers provide approximately 3 mm, 6 mm, 9 mm, 12 mm or 15 mm of elevation.

Firm-density EVA – Provides greater resistance to compression than the Mid Density version.

Peel-away adjustment – Layers can be progressively removed to reduce heel height in approximately 3 mm stages.

Stable in-shoe design – Designed to sit inside suitable supportive footwear with adequate internal depth.

Compact heel shape – Fits beneath the rearfoot rather than extending the full length of the shoe.

Three sizes available – Small, Medium and Large.

Supplied as a pair – Two heel elevators are included.

Indicated where controlled heel elevation has been recommended, including selected Achilles tendon symptoms, heel discomfort and professionally assessed leg-length discrepancy.

May also be considered where temporary heel elevation forms part of a wider rehabilitation or footwear-management plan.

What is the difference between Firm Density and Mid Density?
The Firm Density version is less compressible and provides a more resistant, structured heel lift. The Mid Density version provides a softer level of cushioning.

How much height does the heel elevator provide?
With all five layers in place, the lift provides approximately 15 mm of elevation. Layers can be removed to reduce the height in approximately 3 mm stages.

Should I start at the full 15 mm height?
Not necessarily. Where heel elevation has been professionally recommended, the appropriate height should follow that advice rather than automatically using the maximum height.

Can a heel lift help with Achilles tendon symptoms?
Heel elevation may temporarily reduce the amount of ankle dorsiflexion required during walking and may form part of an Achilles-management plan. It does not treat the underlying cause.

Can it be used for leg-length discrepancy?
Yes, where a genuine leg-length difference has been assessed. The amount and side of correction should ideally be professionally determined.

Should I use one or both heel lifts?
That depends on why the lift is being used. Achilles-related heel elevation is commonly matched in both shoes, whereas correction of an assessed leg-length discrepancy may involve one side.

Will the lift fit any shoe?
No. The shoe needs enough internal depth to accommodate the lift while keeping the heel securely contained.

Can the layers be reattached after removal?
The layers are intended to be permanently peeled away to reduce the height and may not reattach securely once removed.
