Product Description

The TraveLite Transport Chair is designed for convenient, occasional use, offering a compact and lightweight solution for travel and everyday outings. It folds easily into a compact size, reducing to approximately one third of the size of a typical folded wheelchair, making storage and transport straightforward.

Supplied with a lightweight travel bag with wheels, the chair is easy to store and transport, with the wheels on the chair further enhancing ease of movement when travelling. Its sturdy yet lightweight construction makes it suitable for a wide range of situations, from shopping trips to holidays.

For added usability, the chair features flip-up padded desk arms, which facilitate easy side transfers while providing additional support when seated. Multiple cross braces are incorporated into the frame to add strength and stability during use.

Indications for Use

Significant to full impairment of mobility/walking in the case of structural and/or functional damage to the lower extremities (including amputation, after-effects of injuries, musculoskeletal/neuromusculoskeletal movement disorders) and inability to independently use a wheelchair (e.g. in the case of limited strength and grip function or a lack of coordination ability of the arms/hands).

For short-term use as a transport wheelchair indoors and outdoors (nursing facilities, hotel, airport, train station, etc.) by an assistant/caregiver.
