Product Description

Rigid shell thoracolumbar sacral orthosis with adjustable sternal support and shoulder straps. Full immobilisation of the thoracolumbar spine can be achieved due to its bivalve thermoplastic design, which maintains the spine in full extension, preventing twisting, rotational movements, and flexion/extension.

The high density rigid shell is lined with removeable elastic fabric, which is comprised of sponge foam, cotton, and Lycra®. All straps are attached via push buckles and are adjustable with the use of crocodile style fastenings. The sternal pad is adjustable via a tool free locking system for ease of adjustment, and don/doffing.

Post operative and post trauma. Fractures to the thoracic and lumbar spine. Spinal ligament instabilities, metastasis with secondary spinal instability, osteoporosis, spondylolysis, osteomyelitis, transverse-myelitis, degenerative disc disease, herniated disc, chronic muscular diseases with secondary spinal instability/postural changes.
