The Ribcap Lenny Protective Headgear combines soft protective padding with the familiar appearance and warmth of a knitted beanie. It is designed for adults who require additional everyday head protection but prefer discreet, flexible headgear rather than a conventional hard helmet.

Shock-absorbing foam panels are incorporated throughout the headgear to provide cushioning against everyday bumps and falls. Ribcap states that the protective foam used in its headgear has been independently tested by BSI. Ribcap head protectors are medical devices rather than certified sports helmets.

The Lenny uses a wool outer fabric with a breathable lining, combining warmth with moisture management and making it particularly suitable for colder conditions. Its characteristic backward-angled beanie shape provides a distinctive casual appearance while the adjustable detachable chin straps help maintain secure positioning.

Hand wash gently using mild soap, rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry away from direct heat. Ribcap advises against machine washing because movement can damage the protective foam.
