SeniorFims® Modular Insoles
The SeniorFiMs® Modular Insoles are modular orthotic insoles developed by UK podiatrists to provide clinically effective arch support, improved alignment, and customisable correction within a cost-effective, ready-to-use system. Building on the proven success of the JuniorFiMs® range, they offer a practical solution for clinicians requiring adaptable orthotic management without the need for fully bespoke devices.
Featuring a clinically effective integrated arch profile, the insoles support natural foot function while helping to reduce strain on the foot and lower limb. The modular design allows targeted correction to be applied chair-side, enabling efficient assessment and immediate intervention.
Available in both full length and ¾ length options, they can be selected depending on footwear and clinical requirements. Full length insoles provide complete foot contact for improved pressure distribution and stability, while the ¾ length option is suited to footwear with limited toe space, maintaining effective rearfoot and arch support. Full length devices can be trimmed at the toe for accurate fitting.
Constructed using a choice of firm or standard/mid-density EVA bases, the system allows clinicians to select the appropriate level of control and accommodation. The firm density provides increased stability and durability where greater control is required, while the standard density offers a balance of support and cushioning for general use. Each is finished with a velour top cover, with black on firm and navy on standard density.
The modular system includes 14 self-adhesive components, comprising 3° and 5° rearfoot and forefoot posts for the management of pronation and supination, alongside 5mm heel raises for additional sagittal plane adjustment. Components are easily applied and repositioned using adhesive backing, allowing for rapid modification and progression of treatment as required.
A colour-coded system (red for right, blue for left) ensures accurate and efficient dispensing. Available in five sizes, the insoles are designed to accommodate a wide patient population and integrate easily into a broad range of footwear, including trainers, work shoes, and boots.
As a Class I Medical Device, SeniorFiMs® modular insoles provide a reliable, clinically informed option for the management of common conditions such as plantar fasciitis, flat foot, heel pain, and general biomechanical dysfunction, offering an effective balance between prefabricated convenience and customisable control.
