Paediatric Arm & Leg Support – Designed to help maintain knee or elbow extension where controlled positioning is required.

Three Removable Stays – Flexible medial and lateral plastic stays combine with a reinforced posterior stay for adjustable support.

Adjustable Wraparound Design – Circumferential hook-and-loop straps allow the fit to be adapted around the limb.

Breathable Cotton Fabric – Designed to allow airflow and suitable for wear against the skin or over clothing.

Padded Velfoam Lining – Provides a soft padded interface between the gaiter and limb.

Machine Washable – The fabric gaiters can be washed at a low temperature once all stays have been removed.

Six Fabric Designs – Available in Pink, Blue, Denim, Animals, Cars and Hearts.

Bilateral & Sold as a Pair – Each pack contains two gaiters that can be used on either the left or right limb.

Indicated for paediatric conditions where maintenance of knee or elbow extension is required, including contracture management, post-operative rehabilitation and joint support during rehabilitation.

May also be used following selected injuries or cast removal where controlled limb positioning or extension has been recommended by a healthcare professional.

Daytime or overnight use should follow the individual wear programme provided by the treating clinician.

Who are OrthoGaiter® Stock Arm & Leg Gaiters designed for?
They are paediatric gaiters designed for children who require controlled positioning or support to help maintain the knee or elbow in extension. They may be used during rehabilitation, following surgery or injury, or as part of contracture management.

Can the same gaiter be used on an arm or a leg?
Yes. The gaiters are designed for either upper- or lower-limb use, with the appropriate size selected according to the limb measurements.

Are the stays removable?
Yes. Each gaiter contains three removable stays: flexible medial and lateral plastic stays and a reinforced posterior stay.

Can the stays be adjusted?
The stays can be removed and the flexible stays can be contoured where required. Where significant adjustment is needed, follow the guidance of the healthcare professional responsible for the child’s orthotic care.

Can the gaiters be worn over clothing?
Yes. They can be worn directly against the skin or over suitable clothing. Ensure there are no folds or pressure points beneath the gaiter.

Can they be worn during the day or overnight?
Yes, OrthoGaiters may be used during the day or overnight depending on the intended treatment programme. Wear time should follow clinical guidance where they have been prescribed or recommended.

Are they machine washable?
Yes. Remove all three stays before washing and follow the product care instructions. The gaiters are suitable for low-temperature machine washing.

How many gaiters are supplied?
Each pack contains two gaiters. Each gaiter is bilateral, so they can be worn on either the left or right limb.

How do I choose the correct size?
Use the size table and measure the required limb length plus the upper and lower circumference before ordering. If the gaiter has been prescribed, follow the sizing guidance provided by the treating clinician.
